Big News: The Campion is Merging with Mountain Catholic

“The new evangelization in which the whole continent is engaged means that faith cannot be taken for granted, but must be explicitly proposed in all its breadth and richness” – St. John Paul II

After two weeks of planning, building, and brainstorming, the day is finally here. Popular blogs The Campion and (the old) Mountain Catholic have merged, added a priest, a (future) deacon, and a crowd of other passionate contributors, and are proud to bring you the new-look Mountain Catholic.

Though our goal was to create an entirely new site, to be a valuable resource to Catholics in Montana and elsewhere, we decided to keep the name “Mountain Catholic” because, well, we’re Catholic and we love the mountains.

What you’ll find here are solid articles on every aspect of our faith, top-notch homilies from Fr. Garrett Nelson and (soon-to-be Deacon) Kirby Longo, a brand new podcast, “The Pit of Culture” (coming soon!), and lots of other cool stuff.

To follow along with us, you can subscribe to receive new posts via email using the little form in the right-hand sidebar. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, too.

Finally, if you have topic ideas to share, a guest post to submit, feedback, or just want to say “Hi”, shoot us an email at mtncatholic@gmail.com.

Please join us! Also, please keep us in your prayers, since there’s no way we sinners could do this alone.
